what does dimmable mean?

Does this bulb have writing on the top? 1 picture shows writing, the other shows no writing. I'm using a fixture that shows the end of the bulb.
The bulbs i received had no writing on the top of the bulb or any writing on the lighting part itself
Can you hear any buzzing from this bulb?
No I do not hear any buzzing, just checked both of mine and no sound.
